Before departure
If you are not driving, plan transportation from your hotel for the agreed meeting time. Stevie keeps the boat a short drive from George Town on the west side of Great Exuma. Confirm the exact location, pickup plan and time directly before your trip.
A cooler with ice is provided. Ask in advance about lunch arrangements, and bring the food and beverages you expect to need.

- The Bahamian dollar and US dollar are generally used at equal value.
- Electricity is 110 volts, as in the United States and Canada.
- Driving is on the left side of the road.
- Taxis operate throughout the island; confirm rates and pickup in advance.
- Protect valuables as you would anywhere and do not leave them visible in a vehicle.

Return timing depends on the agreed trip length and conditions. Keep the rest of your day flexible enough for safe travel back to your accommodation, especially if you have a flight or fixed reservation.
